MLB rumors: Red Sox match Yankees' Anthony Rizzo trade by reeling in All-Star slugger

Red Sox chief baseball officer Chaim Bloom proved he was up to the challenge, trading for Nationals slugger Kyle Schwarber Thursday night, according to FanSided’s Robert Murray. Before the deal, The New York Post’s Joel Sherman reported he heard “that #Yankees are interested. Schwarber currently on the IL with a hamstring injury.
