MLB insider: Yankees trading for Anthony Rizzo instead of Red Sox was 'mind-boggling'

I don’t think there was a player who was a better fit, who was in the trade market for a contender other than Anthony Rizzo was for the Red Sox. I just saw the Red Sox over the weekend down in St. Petersburg when they were playing the Rays. They needed a left-handed hitter.
