Red Sox have better luck than Yankees when it comes to COVID scare

The New York Yankees aren’t the only team dealing with a COVID concern this week. On Tuesday, the Boston Red Sox placed closer Matt Barnes on its COVID IL list with coronavirus symptoms. But Masslive.com’s Chris Cotillo reports Barnes tested negative for COVID-19 and may be activated before Wednesday’s game against the Detroit Tigers.
