Former Hoosier Kyle Schwarber Scores Winning Run, Boston Red Sox Advance to Playoffs

Kyle Schwarber has provided a lot of magical moments in the Major League Baseball playoffs throughout his career, and he's going to get that chance again after he scored the winning run Sunday as the Boston Red Sox beat the Washington Nationals 7-5 to advance to the postseason. It was a crowded four-team race on Sunday for the final two spots in the American League playoffs, and the Red Sox — who swept the Nationals this weekend after losing five of six games previously — needed a win to advance.
