MLB rumors: Red Sox hoping for mid-season debut of rehabbing ex-Yankees southpaw

Better late than never. The Boston Globe’s Peter Abraham reports “James Paxton, who is recovering from Tommy John surgery, has started a throwing program and could return in July. Before the MLB lockout, the Boston Red Sox signed Paxton to one-year, $10 million contract.
