Red Sox star says he won't sign contract extension before Opening Day
The New York Yankees aren’t the only club playing chicken with the face of their franchise. Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts, like Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge, could be heading for the open market after the 2022 season. Bogaerts is entering the third year of a team-friendly six-year, $120 million contract.
