Boston Red Sox's Christian Vázquez makes 'bear-trap pick' at first base in big seventh inning

The Red Sox gave Rafael Devers a day off Wednesday and so first baseman Bobby Dalbec started at third base. Catcher Christian Vázquez made his first big league start at first base since 2019 and Kevin Plawecki caught Nathan Eovaldi. It all worked out as Vázquez made the game’s key defensive play on a 6-4-3 double play in the seventh.
