Red Sox's beaning scared Yankees especially Gerrit Cole who once kept pitching after lined in head

Yankees reliever Matt Krook was in the Fenway Park visiting clubhouse trainer's room getting ice on his pitching arm after making his major league debut Friday night when he heard Red Sox TV broadcasters react to some real baseball fright. In the fifth inning of the Yankees' 15-5 loss, Red Sox pitcher Tanner Houck was clocked in the face by an 89.7-mph line drive. A lot of Yankees players were jarred, especially catcher Kyle Higashioka, who hit the liner.
