Red Sox player modeled game after Dustin Pedroia growing up in Dominican

Infielder/outfielder Pablo Reyes grew up in the Dominican Republic modeling his game after two second basemen: a Dominican star on the Yankees and a Woodland, Calif. native on the Red Sox. “There were two guys,” Reyes said. The 29-year-old Reyes has played well for the Red Sox since they acquired him in a trade with the Athletics on May 12.
