Future Hall of Fame slugger Miguel Cabrera was Red Sox prospect Blaze Jordan's favorite hitter to watch growing up. “I would love to do what he does — just how he goes about the game and how he approaches it when he's up at the plate,” Jordan told MassLive at Hadlock Field this past Friday. Cabrera, who has bashed 508 career homers, has led the league in batting average and on-base percentage four different times each. Cabrera posted an impressive 16.5% strikeout percentage and 11.4% walk percentage in his prime from 2004-16 (8,655 plate appearances).
