By every measure, Justin Turner has been a terrific free agent signing by the Red Sox. Turner is enjoying perhaps the best season of his career at the age of 38. A case could be made that, despite a lack of defensive contributions, Turner has been the Red Sox's MVP. Factor in his leadership qualities, his ability to connect with everyone on the roster, and his hitting work with any number of teammates, and Turner has been an absolute bargain at $8.3 million for this season.
