Report: Red Sox send Ryan Brasier down to WooSox to make room for Michael Wacha on roster

The Red Sox have optioned reliever Ryan Brasier to Triple-A Worcester, according to a report from Julian McWilliams of The Boston Globe. The move will open a roster spot for starter Michael Wacha, who will be activated off the 15-day injured list and start Friday against Seattle. Brasier has been inconsistent this season and his last few outings have been brutal.
